Acanthemblemaria harpeza is a species of chaenopsid blenny in the genus Acanthemblemaria.[1] It is found around Navassa Island, in the western central Atlantic ocean.[1] It was named by J.T. Williams in 2002.[2] The species name "harpeza" is Greek for "thorn hedge", referring to the thornbush-like nasal and orbital spines and cirri on the blennies' heads.[2]
